Meditations: Two Pilgrimages
Meditations: Two Pilgrimages was presented at the Akron Art Museum’s Bidwell Gallery as part of the coordinated four-venue memorial exhibition honoring Masumi Hayashi across Cleveland and Akron in 2007. Curated by Barbara Tannenbaum, the exhibition focused on Hayashi’s Japanese relocation camps series alongside her final body of work from Asia.
The exhibition opened on October 27, 2007, at the newly reopened Akron Art Museum, and ran through January 27, 2008.
